Vote for the Renacavata Friary as a FAI 2026 "Luogo del Cuore"
The Renacavata Friary in Camerino is the place where the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin was born in 1528. Nestled in the silence of the hills of the Marche region, it still preserves the simple and authentic charm of its Capuchin origins, offering visitors an experience of peace, spirituality, and fraternity.
Renacavata is also the heart of the Cammino dei Cappuccini and for many represents the most significant destination of the journey: a place still capable of speaking to the hearts of those who arrive here. In 2028, we Capuchin Friars will celebrate 500 years since our founding. For this reason, we wish to raise awareness and enhance the place where it all began. Supporting Renacavata in the FAI census means safeguarding an important page of the Franciscan family and a spiritual heritage that continues to reach the entire world today.
With your vote, you can help us give visibility to this unique place and keep its memory alive for future generations.
