The credential is the official passport that accompanies the pilgrim and certifies that he or she is walking the Capuchin Way. It is of great importance to have it with you because with it you gain access to the pilgrim hospices, that is, to all those accommodation and refreshment facilities that reserve special prices for pilgrims.
At each stage, the credential must be stamped to certify the route travelled and at the end of the pilgrimage allow the issuing of the Testimonium, the final parchment that certifies the completion of the pilgrimage. Therefore, it is important to remember to have the credential stamped every day.
It is also a pleasant keepsake to recall the experience of the walk.

Where and how to get it
To receive the credential, we invite you to fill in the form below, which also serves the purpose of getting to know us. The easiest and least onerous way to obtain the credential is to simply request it at the first stage of the walk, at the Capuchin Convent in Fossombrone (it is a good idea to give advance notice through the following contacts: tel. 0721 714370 – 366 4890258 – camminodeicappuccini@gmail.com) or at subsequent stages, if you decide to start the walk from other stages. In the latter case, the credential will be sent to you by post or a point where you can collect it on the route will be indicated.
Please note: to receive credentials for two or more people (even groups), you only need to send one form, indicating the names of the other participants in the “Pilgrims walking with me” field. The credentials will be sent all together to the address indicated on the form.
If you have any other questions regarding credentials, you can contact us directly and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
