It is a good idea to carry a small first aid kit for walking emergencies. For the treatment and care of damaged feet, you will need to carry: hypodermic syringes, gel bandages, plasters, bandages and adhesive elastic bands and scissors.
During the stages of the walk we will be exposed to all kinds of weather conditions. We must not, therefore, forget to protect the skin on our faces and arms or the areas of the body that are in direct contact with the air and the sun. Adequate sun protection is essential, as is the complementary use of moisturising creams.
If space permits, we can add an anti-inflammatory cream, aspirin or paracetamol, and some Proton-pump inhibitors, in case some food hurts.
