Camerino

The convent of Renacavata is a place of exceptional historical importance, as it is the first convent of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, which was founded in Camerino in 1528. From this first convent, the Order soon spread throughout Italy and subsequently throughout the world. Today in Camerino, the friars continue to live according to the model of the Seraphic Father and the first founders of the Order, transmitting their way of life to new generations of friars, particularly through the Novitiate, which has been based in this convent for centuries.
Please note: Capuchin convents do not have employed staff and accommodate limited numbers of pilgrims (indicated in the information for each convent) to foster a personal relationship between the friars and their guests. We ask those who wish to be welcomed in Capuchin convents to observe the following guidelines:
– book in advance;
– if possible, bring a sleeping bag liner or sleeping bag;
– observe the arrival times indicated in the information for each convent;
– stays at the convent are for one night only.

Our fraternity offers a self-managed guest house for parish groups or associations. The house is open to those who wish to experience spaces of silence, reflection, retreat, and formation, sharing moments of prayer and/or dialogue with the Poor Clare sisters. The fraternity lives on donations and does not set any fixed fee for hospitality. The house is spread over three floors and is surrounded by a large green area, adjacent to the monastery walls. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen and dining room. On the first floor, there is a large conference and meeting room, facilities, and a double room with a bathroom. On the second floor, there are 13 rooms with bunk beds and 4 bathrooms with showers, totaling 32 beds. The house also features a large panoramic terrace with a splendid view.

The B&B “Dai Nonni” offers two triple rooms with free WiFi and Italian breakfast every morning. The rooms are equipped with a private bathroom. Hospitality, kindness, and the joy of sharing the pilgrims’ experience await you once you arrive at our facility.

Located in Camerino, “Il Castagneto” offers a garden and free WiFi. The B&B consists of two units with independent entrances. Each unit has a room that can be double, triple, or single as needed, a private bathroom, and a usable kitchen equipped with a dining area, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, stove, kettle, coffee machine, and flat-screen TV. The rooms have a private bathroom with a bidet and hairdryer. A buffet breakfast awaits you in the morning.

Silence, greenery, flowers, peace… this is our B&B. We are not far from the Sibillini Mountains National Park, Lake Fiastra, Pioraco, Spello, and Assisi… by car, motorcycle, bike, or for the more adventurous, on foot!! The accommodation, with a private bathroom and equipped kitchen, allows you to organize yourself completely autonomously to enjoy the time and places! The farmhouse is located in a panoramic area with views of the village of Camerino and the Sibillini Mountains. Immersed in silence, it is the ideal place to spend unforgettable holidays in nature and relaxation. The farmhouse, built around the mid-1700s next to a prestigious manor villa, was once renowned throughout the upper Macerata area for cattle breeding, particularly bulls. Maintaining the typical architectural features of the area, the farmhouse was completely renovated in 2008 to be dedicated to tourist hospitality.

A new tourist hotel complex, located in the heart of the Macerata countryside, a couple of kilometers from the Ducal city of Camerino, in one of the most picturesque places in the Marche region. Inaugurated in July 2008, nestled on a hill and surrounded by greenery, it enjoys an enchanting position, rich in panoramas and views of unparalleled charm.
